Just recently in the UK, we have had the case of a Member of Parliament who was caught watching porn on his phone in parliament. He has since resigned.
Was this an unusual occurrence or is the watching of porn an everyday event? Statistics would seem to indicate that porn is becoming ever increasingly popular. Take the fact that porn website traffic in the United States is higher than the whole of Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Netflix, Pinterest and Zoom combined.
Consider this that even as far back as 2016 on one popular porn website it was estimated that all the data on that site would fill 194,000,000 USB sticks which if you put them end to end would wrap all the way round the moon. The same site estimated that on average in 2018 enough videos were watched to supply 14 videos to every person on the planet. Yes porn is big business.
On the 29th of April on the BBC, a clinical phycologist was questioned about the effects of watching so much porn on the average man. He said that when men watch porn they begin to see women as merely a means to their own ends. In consequence of this they then view women a being of less worth, less intelligence and less able to feel pain. No wonder the UK MP was watching porn.
This plays into the hands of sex slave traffickers who find it increasingly easy to find clients for their trafficked sex slaves in every country in the world. If you would like to find out how this impacts on the women and girls involved, please read the novel ‘The Garden of Sparkling Delight,’ by Deborah Varen available from Amazon in paperback and Kindle, or download a free audio version from this website or from YouTube. Then join in the fight against this heart-breaking traffic. All proceeds are ploughed back into charities who work in this area.
